A Historic Gem is Meticulously Restored.
Newark Street is known for its spectacular turn-of-the-century architecture and charm. So when Brook Rose Development purchased this extremely dilapidated, yet historically significant home; the Cleveland Park neighbors became keenly involved in its future.
Working with the community and the Historic Preservation Office, BRD added nearly 3000 sq ft through a rear addition and basement expansion that retained the authentic character of the home.
Every detail was completely restored. The restoration was more than skin deep - a new concrete foundation and 18” steel beams were added to support the structure for many years to come.
